adminMumbai: Amrita Rao and Hema Malini Ji have come together for The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM), an apex trade association of India to celebrate the World Hand Hygiene Day which is commemorated on 5th May every year. To raise awareness for the same, the duo gave out video and audio messages. The initiative is a part of Honourable PM’s ‘Mission Swachh Bharat’.
Speaking on the occasion Amrita said “Hand Hygiene is the topmost measure to prevent the coronavirus. Many people still think coronavirus is a viral-like cold and flu and while they cover their nose and mouth diligently, they are not at all sensitive about sanitizing their hands with immediate effect as soon as they touch anything that has possibly been touched by or passed on from the hands of another person. Its high time every effort is made to create awareness, educate and remind people that hand hygiene is crucial. Not only Covid-19, but all respiratory and intestinal diseases can be reduced by 50% by washing hands with soap.”
Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Gurugram a world-class medical facility catering to the healthcare needs of the NCR region has partnered with ASSOCHAM for this initiative. Other activity partners include brands like Himalaya Herbals, Abbott, Dettol, Hindustan Unilever Limited and ITC. “It is important to make handwashing into a daily habit. Good handwashing with soap can save more lives than any single vaccine or medical intervention. I would be happy that this effort would be able to bring a difference in the lives of the many people” said Amrita as she signed off.
अमृता राव और हेमा मालिनी जी ASSOCHAM के विश्व हाथ स्वच्छता दिवस की पहल के लिए एक साथ आईं
मुंबई: अमृता राव और हेमा मालिनी जी विश्व हाथ स्वच्छता दिवस मनाने के लिए भारत के सर्वोच्च व्यापार संघ के एसोसिएटेड चैंबर्स ऑफ कॉमर्स एंड इंडस्ट्री ऑफ इंडिया (एसोचैम) के साथ आए हैं| यह दिवस जो हर साल 5 मई को मनाया जाता है। इसी पहल की जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए, दोनों ने वीडियो और ऑडियो संदेश दिए। यह पहल माननीय प्रधानमंत्री के ‘मिशन स्वच्छ भारत ’का एक हिस्सा है।
इस अवसर पर अमृता ने कहा कि “कोविद -19 वायरस को रोकने के लिए हाथों की स्वच्छता सबसे शीर्ष उपाय है। बहुत से लोग अभी भी सोचते हैं कि कोरोनोवायरस कोल्ड और फ्लू की तरह एक वायरस है। वह अपने नाक और मुह कोंतोह ढक लेते अहि लेकिन हाथों की स्वच्छता के तरफ वो संवेदनशील नहीं होते हैं । ऐसे में किसी भी चीज को छूने या उसके पास से गुजरने से यह वायरस दूसरे व्यक्ति को भी लग सकता है। एहि समय है ही हम पूरी कोशिश करे लोगों को हाथ की स्वच्छ्ता के बारे में शिक्षित और जागरूक करने की। न केवल कोविद -19, बल्कि सभी श्वसन और आंतों के रोगों को साबुन से हाथ धोने से 50% तक कम किया जा सकता है।”
नारायण सुपरस्पेशलिटी अस्पताल, गुरुग्राम एनसीआर क्षेत्र की स्वास्थ्य संबंधी जरूरतों को पूरा करने वाली एक विश्व स्तरीय चिकित्सा सुविधा ने इस पहल के लिए ASSOCHAM के साथ भागीदारी की है। अन्य भागीदारों में हिमालय हर्बल्स, एबॉट, डेटॉल, हिंदुस्तान यूनिलीवर लिमिटेड और आईटीसी जैसे ब्रांड शामिल हैं।
उन्होंने कहा, ” हाथ धोना रोज़ाना की आदत होनी चहियर। साबुन के साथ अच्छा हैंडवॉश करना किसी भी एक वैक्सीन या मेडिकल हस्तक्षेप से अधिक जीवन बचा सकते हैं। मुझे खुशी होगी कि यह प्रयास कई लोगों के जीवन में एक अंतर लाने में सक्षम होगा ” अमृता ने साइन ऑफ करते हुए कहा।
