adminMumbai, February 7, 2020: The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) after having successful auditions in Kolkata, held female model auditions in Mumbai today. The venue saw an interesting mix of over 160 faces, who enthusiastically responded and came to be the next fresh face at Opa! Bar & Cafe.
The jury panel comprised designers Monisha Jaising and Kunal Rawal, actor Urvashi Rautela, super model Rikee Chatterjee and show director Anu Ahuja. Those selected will get an opportunity to walk for the Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week in association with EbixCash Autumn-Winter 2020 from March 11-15, in the capital. 15 aspiring faces were shortlisted and among those, few models won hampers from our Title Partner, Lotus Make-Up and Official Partner, Suthol.
“Mumbai has always been a city that gets the maximum number of participants if you see the ancestry, this year too was no different. We made sure it was inclusive and everyone got a chance to get noticed. We selected models based on a blend of personality and confidence, who we are certain will be the faces to watch out for in the future,” said Sunil Sethi, Chairman FDCI.
