adminIn its continued endeavor to support the country’s tourism revival efforts whilst fortifying connectivity in its single largest market India, SriLankan Airlines hosted yet another exceptional group of Indian celebrities and influencers. The group comprised of social media influencers, youtubers & actors specifically from the South Indian cities and arrived in Colombo on Saturday, 26th March.
For six days, these influencers toured across the island through a curated itinerary featuring Sri Lanka’s rich ecological and cultural vibrancy entwined with the inherent island attributes of luxury, wellness and hospitality.
The influencers group includes names like Avika Sameer Gor (famous celebrity and renowned by its character of Anandi in Indian Television History), Gehna Haresh Sippy (Tollywood Actor of Chor Bazaar fame), Apoorva Srinivasan Aringundrum (Vloggers from MySouthDiva) Ruhani Sharma (Tollywood celebrity) Tanya Hope (Telugu, Tamil & Kannada Celebrity) and Manoj Kumar Katokar ( celebrity photographer and creator of Mysouthdiva ). Through their individual social media platforms, their stories of travel have been reaching lakhs of their followers and travellers in India.
The group stayed at Cinnamon Bentota Beach for the entire duration and will travell across nearby scenic destinations. The group will also visited a nearby rainforest reserve area for “tree plantation” activity. The ground services were handled by Sri Lanka’s leading DMC (Destination Management Company), Walkers Tours.
MySouthDiva has also planned their annual calendar shoot with the influencers at the property with Sri Lanka in the backdrop. The trip has been a huge success.
